Due to the high volume of questions pertaining to the timeline of the development, we thought this would be an appropriate time to give both individual buyers and builders a quick update.
Work began at the site on August 14th, 2020 which was 3 months delayed due to COVID. We needed a near perfect Fall weather wise to get our roads in and asphalt down. Unfortunately, we have had enough large rain events this Fall which will not make that possible. It is our goal to get all the sewer runs and laterals in as well as to have all grading/seeding done yet this year leaving small touch ups and pavement in the Spring.
Blacktop plants traditionally close the third Friday in November, which would be the 20th. These asphalt plants typically will not open again until around May 1st, 2021. We are currently working with those vendors so that we can be one of the first projects on the list in anticipation for lots to be available by May 15th, 2021.
